Myself and hubbie heading down from Dublin to Cloughjordan area Tuesday for a few days rest from the city. We love walking and anything to do with food. Any tips for some foodie walking trails in the area?
That is quite a challenge you’ve set me! Not sure that it would be possible to combine the two! Everything is quite a distance apart around here! 🙂
In Cloughjordan itself there is a lovely book store cum coffee shop – Sheelagh na Gig – defintely worth a visit. Also there is the Sarah Baker Cookery Schoo – they seem to just have kid’s courses on the moment. Nenagh has lots of lovely cafes and places to eat – Country Choice, The Peppermill, The Pantry, Cafe Q, Cinnamon Alley – and lots more. For a wonderful dining experience you can’t beat Brocca on the Water!
Or you are more than welcome to come and see the pigs, hens, ducks and turkeys here!
