Finally in place! We had packed these away so safely it has taken us a couple of years to find the ‘safe place’. Does anyone else do silly stuff like make a ‘safe place’ so safe it cannot be found?

A Year In Redwood 
When we moved here it took us nine years to unpack. I still haven’t unpacked the boxes we brought here when my Dad died in 1989 or when my husband’s mum died in 2000.
Glad to hear others are like us! It took me 11 years to get the book shelves so I could unpack my books!
Lovely collection Margaret, is that your newly decorated hallway? Did you manage to finish the stairs before Christmas?
Thanks Dee. Yes, it is the upstairs landing. Sadly, no we didn’t get the stairs finished yet. Too busy with deliveries before Christmas and to be honest the paint would have taken so very long to dry in this current weather. Hopefully we can make a start next week!
