We’ve just had another lovely AirBnB guest…. and look at the amazing gift she has left us.
The Jazz Players by Celia Lauve
Celia painted this herself and it fits beautifully into our diningroom, and so looking forward to having it framed and putting it up.

Wow, that’s marvellous. There were lots of challenges to overcome in that painting and she did so beautifully.
And this is only a segment of it! Wasn’t it the most beautiful gift?
What an amazing and generous gift, Margaret. I can just imagine it hanging up in your Dining room. Would perfectly suit the room.
Thanks Colette… the colouring is just perfect… you’ll have to come to see it for yourself 🙂
We’ll be down again, one of these days, and soon, I hope 😉 Btw, made just one .55l Kilner bottle worth of your fab Blackcurrant cordial recipe from our cane of fruit, tonight. Can’t wait to have a taste. Where do you store yours?
Just keep it in a press in the kitchen. And it lasts from one year to the next (if I make enough) 🙂
That’s really beautiful – the detail is amazing. I love thoughtful, handcrafted gifts like this. She must have been impressed by her stay!
I hope Celia did enjoy her stay, we certainly enjoyed her company…. and yes, the detail in the painting is amazing.
Everytime I look at it I’m blown away.
