Huge smile on my face 🙂 Lovely post, finding the positive in the small (big!) things. Sx
Hey Sile…. 100% increase in yield, and I got to have one all to myself! I had to share last year!
I love fresh figs with blue cheese. Used to have them all the time in Australia. Yum
Fiona, if we get a further 100% increase in yield next year… we will have 4 and can try a blue cheese recipe! 🙂
I want a fig tree too! Where did you get it?
Looks lovely. Bet it tasted fab too x
Mona the taste was delicious… so juicy! I think it was another one of those €4.99 jobs from Dunnes or Lidl… we have it about 5 years!
A bumper crop indeed!
Sure Paula, tis the small things in life that keep us going!
Figs in Ireland – that’s pretty cool.
Mairead, I know! I saw some at a visitor centre quite near here and thought we’d give them a try… so was thrilled when we actually got fruit!
ha, ha, ha! love it!!
Lily, we’ve had a bountiful crop!
