I can hardly believe the month of June has passed already!
We have been so busy here in Redwood.
Managed to get a few delivery runs done.
Got to spend a day at Bloom.
Have had family and friends to stay, who brought us lovely gifts.
Auntie Laura (aka Day Dream Foodie) came to visit with Jemima and brought me the sourdough starter.
A quick trip to Galway to meet Wisewords and Warm, Snug & Fat for lunch – do go to the Meyrick for lunch – it is delicious.Β A bit of retail therapy and lunch in Athlone.
Made a start at redesigning the back yard – it will eventually be a lovely herb garden!
Started to knock down the old cottage – that was about to fall down.
Move pigs to a nicer neighbourhood π
Added to the menagerie.
And kept the polytunnel weeded and watered!
And in between times there was cooking, baking and jam making!
Phew!
I’m exhausted even thinking about it!
And July is set to be just as busy……
What are you all up to in this not so ‘summery’ Irish Summer?
a lovely peak into your month π I adore that photo of Jemima & I, we look bonded – its almost a hug…. Do you think you could mail me the 2 piccies you have of me & Jemima? Id like to use them on the blog – & to try beat my urban family with lol
i hope Herman keeps well for you – he makes yummy sweet bread π
thanks again for having us π you will have to keep me updated with your blogger gangs outings etc – id love to come down for one some time – meet everyone π
love love love xx
Will of course send on the photos! Herman is getting bigger and bigger!
He’s scary isn’t he lol I was never just so sure all was going right – but it all turned out ok in the end!
I am so envious you have a digger! And Herman sounds delightful.
I shall save a Herman baby for you!
And I thought I was busy in June. After seeing what you accomplished in one month I feel totally lazy and unproductive. Hope July calms down a bit for you but glad that you had company and that you got to have lunch in Galway with friends (O.K. I’m a little jealous of that lunch date too!)
Gosh Paula, I feel very little was accomplished! Lots started… so still lots to finish! July will be equally as hectic!
