Never in my ten yrs+ of gardening have I ever seen an artichoke to fruit or indeed flower in Winter Margaret. Well done you! Obviously likes the Tip weather….

I know! I had 2 plants before but bad frost wiped them out. Then I planted more seeds last year but the seedlings got mixed up with cardoons… so I wasn’t sure what I had! Then I spotted this… yumminess coming soon!
